The legendary Sons of the Pioneers are returning to the Prairie Rose.
In 1934, the Sons of the Pioneers basically created what we now call Western Music. Now in their 85th year, the Sons of the Pioneers continue to delight and inspire with their classic songs like "Tumbling Tumbleweeds," "Cool Water," and "(Ghost) Riders in the Sky." Longtime member and Trail Boss of the Sons of the Pioneers, Tommy Nallie, is joined by Ken Lattimore, John Fullerton, and Paul Elliott, along with Roy Rogers Jr. (Dusty,) whose dad started the band. It's the tight, vocal harmonies and interesting instrumental arrangements that put the Sons of the Pioneers in both the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Western Music Hall of Fame. Their classic sound remains to this day.
